Recently, a grand ceremony was held inside the newly constructed temple to consecrate the new effigy of Lord Rama, sparking joyous celebrations all throughout the city. The ceremonial proceedings had a distinguished touch with the attendance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The symbolism was significant when Prime Minister Narendra modi entered the temple premises wearing a cream-colored dhoti and a golden kurta, adorned with a scarf. With a silver ‘chhatra’ on top of a crimson silk sari, he performed the holy “Prana Pratishtha Samaroah” and then entered the sanctum sanctorum to perform the rite.
Remarkable Attendance
Not only did the Prime Minister honor the sanctum sanctorum, but Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat were also present. Helicopters showered flowers over the temple as the service came to an end, evoking a magical atmosphere.

Post-ceremony, Prime Minister Modi is prepared to engage with the assembled crowd, exemplifying his dedication to the people. Beyond the ceremonial facets, he intends to visit Kuber Tila and personally connect with the industrious laborers who contributed to the temple’s construction.
Magnificent Architectural Splendor
This traditional Nagara-style temple stands as a testament to architectural brilliance, boasting dimensions of 380 feet in length (east-west), 250 feet in width, and an impressive height of 161 feet. Anchored on 392 pillars and 44 doors, the temple’s grandeur is truly remarkable.
Stone Artistry
The walls and pillars of the temple are canvases on which magnificent artwork and detailed representations of Hindu deities are shown. The ground floor primary sanctum sanctorum has the effigy of Lord Rama, which depicts him in his charming childhood form.
Ascending the Symbolic Stairs
Ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar from the eastern direction, visitors reach the primary entrance of the temple. The five mandaps (halls) – Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prarthana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap – each contribute to the temple’s architectural and spiritual significance.
